IHFP faculty has worked in more than 75 developing and advanced economies to provide technical assistance and advice on housing and housing finance related policy issues. These contracts were either directly with public or private sector entities in each country or through international development institutions. 2018 GOVERNMENT OF SOUTH AFRICA
NATIONAL TREASURY AND DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS / WORLD BANK
- Supports DHS with the formulation of a new Human Settlement Policy / White Paper and related Housing Programs.
2018 GOVERNMENT OF UZBEKISTAN
- Assist the government of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Finance, with the reforms of current housing policy, housing finance subsidy programs and the establishment of a Housing Agency with a view to create more efficient housing and mortgage finance markets.
2015 GOVERNMENT OF ARGENTINA
- Support to City of Buenos Aires and Ministry of Housing and Pension Fund with design of housing finance linked subsidy programs.
2015 GOVERNMENT OF EGYPT
- Assist GOE with the development of mortgage linked housing subsidy system; prepare loan proposal for $500 million; work with transitional and subsequent governments on design of housing policies and programs.
- Design rental housing subsidies, development of Public-Private partnerships for housing, and strategies to improve the location of low/middle income housing.
